What's Coming This Fall at Ryan's: Pumpkin, Peppermint, and Eggnog

· By the Ryan's team

Quart of homemade pumpkin ice cream with Ryan's label

Summer gets all the ice cream headlines, but here's a secret the regulars know: the seasonal case at Ryan's doesn't close when the beach does. As summer winds down, it's worth a look at what the cooler months bring to the board.

Pumpkin comes back in the fall

When fall settles in, Pumpkin returns to the seasonal lineup. It's the scoop that pairs perfectly with sweater weather, and plenty of regulars take it home by the quart so a slice of fall is always waiting in the freezer.

Peppermint and Eggnog for the holidays

As the holidays roll around, Peppermint and Eggnog take their turn in the case. Peppermint is the cool, candy-bright one; Eggnog is the rich, spiced classic that tastes like December. Both belong to the same rotating cast as summer's Jersey Peach: they show up when the season is right and leave when it isn't, which is exactly why people look forward to them all year.

No dates, just seasons: We don't announce exact arrival dates for seasonal flavors; they show up when the season is right. The surest way to know is to check the seasonal flavors page or simply ask at the counter.

The year-round lineup isn't going anywhere

Seasonal flavors come and go by design, but the everyday board stays put: two dozen and more homemade flavors, from Butter Pecan and Mint Chip to Fruity Pebbles and Salted Caramel, made in small batches the way they have been since 1988. Browse the whole homemade lineup any time.

Can't wait? Let the wheel decide

If the anticipation gets to be too much, remember there are two dozen flavors ready right now, and the Flavor Wheel is happy to pick one for you. Fall flavors are worth the wait. The wait just doesn't have to be scoopless.
