Two ways to take a quart home
A quart of Ryan's is the easy way to keep homemade ice cream flavor on hand: no trip to the shop required when the craving hits. There are two ways to grab one:
Hand-Packed
Packed to order right at the counter with the flavor you're craving that day. Pick your favorite and we'll pack it fresh while you wait.
Pre-Packed
Ready-to-grab quarts kept in the freezer for when you're in a hurry. Selection rotates, so it's a quick grab-and-go when your flavor is in stock.
Good to know: pre-packed quarts rotate by flavor and location, so we recommend calling ahead to check that the flavor you want is available before you make the trip.
Which flavors can you take home?
Hand-packed quarts can be filled with whatever's in the dipping cabinet that day — any of our 24+ homemade flavors, from crowd-pleasers like Vanilla, Cookies and Cream, and Cookie Dough to shop favorites like Butter Pecan, Salted Caramel, Coffee Chip, and Mint Chip. When a seasonal flavor like Jersey Peach shows up, a quart is the best way to make it last past the car ride home. Pre-packed flavors rotate, which is why we suggest calling ahead.
How far does a quart go?
A quart is 32 ounces — roughly eight generous scoops — so one covers dessert for a small family night, and two or three handle a sleepover or a dinner party sundae bar. Feeding a bigger crowd for a birthday? That's usually ice cream cake territory: our cakes run from a 7" round that serves 6–8 up to a large sheet that serves 30–45.
Perfect for parties and movie nights
Keep a couple of quarts in the freezer for family movie nights, birthday desserts, weekend get-togethers, or unexpected guests. It's the same homemade ice cream you love at the shop, the same ice cream we spin into hand-spun milkshakes, ready whenever you are.
